Ever since I was a teenager I've had a strong passion for shooting in different weather conditions and the way that a camera can capture the emotional essence of any given moment.
My early 35mm film days were mostly influenced and inspired by an overwhelming desire to travel.
My love for photography was renewed in 2010 with our new family member: a dog called Saya.
She, a Lagotto Romagnolo, has tons of energy (...), so I make every week a hiking tour into the Swiss mountains with Saya.
We both enjoy this trips very much!
Of course I always have my camera with me, a Nikon D800, then a D850. In 2021 I switched to the incredible Nikon Z7 II. I am very happy with my new camera and glad that I upgraded!
Photography allows me to capture moments and memories unlike any other medium.
But:
When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs.
When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.
